  1. Sieve all the dry ingredients : flour,baking soda,salt cocoa and set aside
  2. In a separate bowl. Mix sugar and butter and whisk till its fluffy.Then add eggs one by one and continue to whisk.
  3. Add to the mixture vanilla, white vinegar and the red clour and continue to whisk till it is evenly mixed.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the mixture and continue to add milk to the mixture and whisk till it becomes thick.
  5. Pour the mixture to a prepared baking tin and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 mins

Add marshmallows and sugar and blend. Spread between layers and on top and sides of cooled cake. Red Velvet Cake is not just a chocolate cake with red food colouring added. This cake is softer than most, "velvet-like", and the chocolate taste is actually quite mild. It's more like a cross between a vanilla and chocolate cake with a very subtle tang from buttermilk.
