Steps to make Black rice pudding/ Chak Hao pudding:
  1. Keep all ingredients ready. Soak one cup of black rice in water for 3 hours atleast. Drain soaked water -add water again, put pandon leaf -cook the rice in pressure cooker with 2 extra whistles. Let it cool.
  2. Mash the cooked black rice, powder the cardamom. Grinde the grated coconut with water to the paste, strain the coconut milk from paste. Powder the palm jaggery.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan, add palm jaggery -stir well till jaggery melts, add cooked black rice, coconut milk and stir well on sim heat.
  4. Add cadrdamom powder and half cup condensed milk, mix well and turn off heat. When it cools transe to serving bowl, garnish with mango pieces and spoon of condensed milk on it. Black Rice pudding/ Chak Hao pudding is ready.
