Hey everyone, it’s me again, Dan, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a distinctive dish, traditional eggnog. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can cook traditional eggnog using 8 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Traditional Eggnog:
  1. Prepare 1 gallon milk
  2. Get 1 gallon heavy cream
  3. Prepare 2 cup bourbon
  4. Prepare 32 each egg yolks
  5. Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp ground nutmeg
  6. Take 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  7. Make ready 32 each egg whites
  8. Take 4 cup granulated sugar

This is a great eggnog with or without alcohol. It is from "Company's Coming for Christmas. Nothing says "holiday spirit" like a glass of eggnog! It tastes like Christmas, and when you combine just a few simple ingredients, you have a treat the whole family can enjoy.

Instructions to make Traditional Eggnog:
  1. combine egg yolks and sugar untill smooth
  2. add milk, cream, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, and nutmeg
  3. beat egg whites with 3 tablespoons of sugar, until soft peaks. combine with the rest of the mix.
  4. serve chilled, garnish with cinnamon
