To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook falafel using 11 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Falafel:
  1. Prepare 1 cup chickpeas (soaked overnight)
  2. Take 1 cup parsley or coriander
  3. Make ready 2 cloves garlic
  4. Get 1 small onion

  6. Get 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. Take 2 tbsp flour
  8. Make ready 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds

  1. Add all the ingredients into a chopper or juicer blender and blend together to make a thick paste. Add just a little water at a time.
  2. Then add 1 tbsp heaped of the paste into medium heated pan and deep fry.
  3. Fry till nice brown in colour and serve with Hummus or in any sandwich or with Pita bread.
