The ingredients needed to make Falafel Tikki-Hummus:
  1. Get For Falafel Tikki
  2. Prepare 1 cup soaked chickpeas (kabuli channa)
  3. Make ready 1/2 chopped onion
  4. Make ready 2-3 garlic cloves
  5. Get 1/2 tsp cummin seeds powder
  6. Make ready 2 green chillies
  7. Take 1 pinch soda bi carb
  8. Prepare leaves Fistful fresh coriander corainder
  9. Make ready to taste Salt
  10. Take Oil for frying
  11. Get For Hummus
  12. Get 1/2 cup unsoak chickpeas
  13. Take 6-8 garlic cloves
  14. Get 2 green chillies
  15. Take 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
  16. Get 2 tbsp curd
  17. Get 4-6 tbsp olive oil
  18. Take leaves To Garnish red chilli powder and corainder
  19. Get To serve 2 pizza bread (each cut into 8 slices)
Instructions to make Falafel Tikki-Hummus:
  1. Wash and soak kabuli channa for falafel tikki and hummus overnight or for 8 hours. For Hummus.. Discard soaked water from chickpeas,add fresh water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles with pinch of soda bi carb.
  2. For preparing falafel tikki.. Strain water from soaked chickpeas. With chopped onion, green chillies, garlic cloves, corainder leaves, cummin seeds powder and salt, grind soaked chickpeas in mixer grinder to coarse mixture. Add & mix soda bi carb.
  3. Make small round shape balls from prepared grinded chickpeas mixture. Deep fry in hot oil till crispy golden brown.
  4. To prepare hummus..in veg chopper add chopped green chillies, green chillies, roasted sesame seeds, garlic cloves and coarse grind it. Add boiled chickpeas with 1-2 tbsp of water(from boiled chickpeas). Grind coarsely.
  5. Add curd and again grind. Add olive oil and churn it.
  6. Remove in serving bowl add garnish with red chilli powder and corainder leaves.
  7. Cut each pizza bread into 8 triangular pieces. Apply ghee/ butter on each slices. Toast them on tawa. I toasted in Airfryer for 5 minutes at 180 temperature.
  8. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hummus with Falafel Tikki- Toasted Pizza bread slices.
