The ingredients needed to make The Pugaron:
  1. Make ready 200 g icing sugar
  2. Prepare 120 g Almond powder
  3. Make ready 100 g Egg white
  4. Get 3 tbs caster sugar
  5. Get 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  6. Take 1 tsp cocoa powder
Steps to make The Pugaron:
  1. Mix almond powder and icing sugar and sift them to fine powder. Set aside.
  2. Beat egg white and cream of tartar. Slowly adding caster sugar. Beat until stiff peak has formed.
  3. Add mixture of almond powder in 3 portions. Fold the mixture gently until lava-like batter is formed.
  4. Transfer to piping bag. Make to the pug-shaped. Decorate with small amount of cocoa mixed batter.
  5. Let the macaron dry at room temperature until dry to touch.
  6. Bake at 140C for 15 minutes
