The ingredients needed to make Falafel:
  1. Make ready soaked chickpeas
  2. Prepare Peanut or vegetable oil, for frying
  3. Make ready olive oil
  4. Make ready garlic, chopped
  5. Make ready serrano chiles, chopped
  6. Take green onions finally chopped
  7. Take chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  8. Get lemon juice
  9. Prepare cumin seeds, toasted and ground

Instructions to make Falafel:
  1. Drain the chickpeas through a colander then place on a baking sheet lined with paper towels to absorb any excess moisture. Chickpeas should be totally dry.
  2. Put them in a large bowl and blend in all the other ingredients, except oil.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan
  4. Make the balls Fry them 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Put the falafels on a plate covered with a paper towel, in order to absorb all excess oil.
  6. Serve.
